# How to set the rDNS for my VPS?

Clients can set reverse [DNS](https://host4geeks.com/knowledgebase/how-to-update-the-dns-nameservers-at-namecheap-com/) (RDNS/PTR) in their MyVM [Control Panel](https://host4geeks.com/knowledgebase/how-to-log-in-to-solusvm-control-panel/). Click the Network tab and you will see options to edit RDNS for your IPv4 addresses.

Enter your Reverse DNS in a (Fully Qualified Domain Name) FQDN in format (server.yourdomain.com).

Note: If you are using CloudFlare, our system will not detect the necessary A-Record pointing [your domain](https://host4geeks.com/knowledgebase/how-to-remove-an-add-on-domain-in-cpanel/) to our [IP](https://host4geeks.com/knowledgebase/how-to-unblock-my-ip-from-the-firewall/)(s). Please disable CloudFlare, set up your RDNS, and then re-enable it.
